GREETINGS!!

I can't believe that it is already December - 2007 ... and 2008 is just around the corner! Amazing! It's been a crazy busy year ... with lots of transition at work. But it's rounding out to be a great year - and I'm doing lots of travel for biz ... and loving it. All is going well, in that regard.

From the personal front - I'm working on living a more healthy lifestyle ... and simplifying life. And ... just being 'me'. Part of that desire has resulted in me 'going natural' with my hair - which has been a long process. I was always a brunette - with a couple of distinctive white streaks, when I was younger. As I started to gray, I started coloring. When I went through an ordeal with Cancer, and losing my hair after Chemo - my hair came back in almost all white. About a year after that, I started coloring again - and eventually went blonde, because I had so many white roots. But I never felt like 'me' - because, though I liked the blonde look, it just never felt totally right. So ... I started letting it grow out, and started the process to go natural. I just had it just short - and absolutely love it! I feel like myself again ... and really like the look. And I think it's going to be much easier for me - with my upcoming travel schedule. So ... here's a pic ... of what I call my 'Boomer hair'!

Have a great one! And I hope you end the year on a happy note ... and in preparation for the year to come!
Peace!

Hi Brenda, I absolutely ADORE that colour! Some women pay big bucks for that shine...have you thought of getting it cut even shorter with a sort of spiky look? I can just "see" you like that! You're looking FAB, dah...link! ;D

hi Brenda, i didn't even know you were posting. when i looked at your picture before i read your post, i said to myself, "Brenda cut her hair." i love it. i love new looks, and i definitely understand about having a more simplified hair-grooming time-schedule. lol

can you believe how far God has brought you since the cancer? you have a great job where you get to travel, and have many loved ones, plus you've seen a few new births in your family. it just goes to show that God is still in the blessing business.

i'm so proud of you and all that you've accomplished, even thru your past sickness. now, you're into a whole new year, and i pray all of God's continued best for you and your loved ones. HAPPY NEW YEAR BRENDA!

love you,
hugs,
sylvia
